Welcome to the “Friendly City” and the Sanford Regional Ministry Center (formerly the Sanford Ministers Fellowship). We are a relationship based organization that seeks to serve and add value to churches and ministries, as well as the community, so every ministry can be uniquely successful in sharing the love of God in our area. In many ways we are similar to a Chamber of Commerce, but as it relates to Christian Ministries in the Sanford area.

We believe there is a great blessing awaiting God’s people and our city when we, the brethren, dwell together in unity (Psalm 133). There is something very powerful and pleasing to the Lord when Believers regularly meet outside their normal tribal boundaries. The old excuses that used to keep us separated are no longer effective as the mature in Christ focus on the Head of the Church.

As you see from the Scripture below our world will truly believe that Jesus was sent by God when they see Christians living in observable oneness; we aren’t talking about sameness, but being in one accord as they were in the book of Acts. Let’s be the answer to our Savior’s prayers right here where we live.

Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said; I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. John 17:21-23
